Its my party and I'll cone if I want to

For my birthday party Paul and Amanda brought ear candles (cones) and we had a sweet ear-candling party. It was the coolest thing ever! The results were mildly disgusting so I won't include that picture. If you have never done this, you don't know what you are missing.

A great start

Well, the Grove Community church has launched. It was a wonderful day. Over 300 people were there; some friends, family, and many visitors. Thank you all for your prayers and celebrate with us as three people began a relationship with Christ! The real work begins now as we continue to reach out into the area.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. - Isaiah 61: 1-3


The Kingdom of God will expand on April 9. Pray that people will come and find Christ.
