Half Dome

Here we are at the beginning of the 16 mile trek with our headlamps (we began at 1:30 am) The hike was quite steep, especially approaching the huge rock dome - here Rick is coming up the zig-zag steps that are carved into the granite.
There it is... right at sunrise.

You can see a lone climber half-way up the cables where the sun hits.

A beautiful waterfall with a rainbow. We could barely see it on the way up.
